
Yes, it’s true. For a limited time, Lonely Planet is giving away their San Francisco Guide for the iPhone (A $15.99 value). With the Apple WWDC 2009 coming up in a few weeks (June 8 to 12), a nice gesture to stimulate downloads and awareness. Having recently downloaded and installed the City Guide, it’s really quite good at integrating the entire experience for someone who is coming for a visit. IMHO, even a good refresher for a native San Franciscan.
