How To Unlock LG GR500 (Xenon)

Instructions

LG GR500 Unlock Step 1 After turning on your mobile phone, press: *#865625#
LG GR500 Unlock Step 2 Press Yes to continue.
LG GR500 Unlock Step 3 Enter the 16 digit Subsidy Unlock Code
LG GR500 Unlock Step 4 Enter the 16 digit Subsidy Unlock Code, again.
  Device should say: “Network Lock Deactivated”
Phone may automatically reboot

*The 16 digit code can be obtained by calling the Mobile Operator Customer Care Department and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code. Alternatively, you can go online and seek out a Subsidy Unlock site.

To obtain the IMEI number press *#06# on your mobile device.

    i have a question in order to unblock it for picture mail does it have to be with a at&t sim card..my phn is already unblocked for calls but i flashed to tmobile and they are telling me that in order for internet to work i have to get a smart phn internet plan instead of just a regular one..

    myrna: So the LG Xenon you have has already been Subsidy Unlocked and you are using T-Mobile? Now you are trying to get picture messaging to work on T-Mobile? If both are true, you need to sign up for a data plan. Subsidy Unlocking a device gives you the freedom to pick which mobile operator, not give you free services.

    sofia: You need to contact the Customer Service department for your mobile operator. They need to give you the configuration settings so that you can access email, picture messaging and more.

    I bought my unlock code on line and then i put in my boost mobile sim card and the code unlocked my phone but it’s saying that my service is unavailible what do i need to do to change this?

    tayzer: If the devices is permanently unlocked, you can try to perform a Master Reset. If that doesn't work, then the device is permanently locked.

    none69: Try giving the 17 digits to Customer Serivce, I believe they can sort out which digit to dismiss. My guess is it will be the last number.

    sameh77: This site provides instructions on how to unlock. There is no universal subsidy unlock code for the device, so I cannot give you a subsidy unlock code that will work for your specific phone.

    melissa1026: Boost Mobile will not work with this device because it uses a different radio technology than AT&T.

    When I dial *#865625#, doesn't go to SIM UNLOCK PROCESS, What appear for me is: Security
    Network lock, networksubset lock, service provider, corporate lock SIM/USIM lock, do y guys know why??

    It might be different for every phone of the same model.

    Barnard T: I'm sure I understand your question. If you are using the dial pad, just start typing the numbers into the phone. You will need to obtain the subsidy unlock code before start this process.
