How To Unlock Pantech C530 Slate

Pantech C530 Slate

  • Insert non AT&T or Cingular SIM card
  • Power on the device
  • The display will show “Change SIM” and Left Soft Key will be labeled “Unlock”
  • Press Left Soft Key – A “Password” box will appear on display
  • Enter Unlock Code (8 digit code)*
  • Press “OK” – Center Soft Key
  • The device will display “rebooting” and then power cycle
  • The device is now unlocked

*The 8 digit code can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code.

    gabeshipley: Contact AT&T Customer Care and request the Subsidy Unlock Code for your device. You will need to give them the IMEI number of the device.

  • Sanjay: The instructions are posted here. What you need to do is obtain the IMEI (serial number) for your device. Then exchange that by contacting AT&T Customer Service or using an Online Subsidy Unlock service.
