Hi,
If I purchased this phone (cash) and wanted to use it in South Africa once back there, would the customer care consultant simply give me this subsidy unlock code without a problem?
Thanks in advance
Craig: For your situation, if might best if you use an online subsidy unlock service. If you purchase the device directly from a mobile operator store, you should ask contact that mobile operator to obtain the subsidy unlock code, before heading back to South Africa.
HOW CAN I CHANGE THE IMEI ON THE BLACKBERRY 9000
JACK: You cannot change the IMEI of a phone, that is the “serial number” for the device.
My BBerry 9000 only has a 15 digit MEP code, will this still work?
capitalone: It should be 16 digits. Check with who provided you with the MEP code.
Name: Sorry, I don't have much experience with online Subsidy Unlock Code services.

Hi. I want to buy an unlocked BB Bold 9000. I'm currently using a BB Tour 9630 on Sprint. What would it take to make the unlocked 9000 work for Sprint? Thanks in advance.
Wildil: An unlocked BB 9000 from AT&T or T-Mobile will not be compatible with the BB Tour from Sprint as the two networks use different radio technology.
