  • mobileslate
boliveira: What country are you located at? If the mobile operator cannot provide the code, you can go online and look for a subsidy unlock code site. You will need to pay a fee to obtain the code.
  • Skip1967

Skip1967: Sorry, I do not have one that I would recommend.

I have a blacberry curve 8900 that I have allready unlocked by calling tmobile and they sent me the code to do so, but my phone been stolen, so I have another blackberry curve 8900 that I want to unlock, is it the same MEP code as the last one, or each blackberry have a specific unlock code????
  • mobileslate
cyrine: No, each subsidy unlock code is specific to each phone, there is no universal subsidy unlock code.
  • newbie123
is there any other way to obtain the 16 digit code?
  • mobileslate
newbie123: Two ways that have been consistent - contact your mobile operator or use an online subsidy unlock service.

"sorry.. emergency calls only?" how do i correct this? this my imei-359***************.. sim lock MEP-******** what do i do from here to make the fone work? thank you
  • mobileslate
no12nv: It seems like if all the settings show: Disabled, the device should be unlocked. The SIM Lock code appears to be different that the subsidy unlock code, which should be 16 digits.
  • no12nv
i have done all the above but when i try to call out i get emergency calls only? why and how do i fix it?
  • mobileslate
no12v: Can you describe a little bit more about your problem?
