hi i have the samsung katalyst t739 and i am trying to unlock it do u have the code i am with tmobile and they wont unlock it for me so f u know how that would be great

If you have been with T-Mobile for more than 6 months, they will allow you to unlock the device. You can also call them up and let them know that you will be traveling internationally and will need the phone unlocked.
The only other way for T-Mobile to provide the unlock code is if you purchased the device at full retail price and can prove it with a receipt.
I already tried calling them up but they wont, because i only have been with them for 60 days and not 90 days and i am traveling next saturday. so i really need this if you can help me. or if u know if i do it outside of the company with that mess up my phone?
Zinab: There are several online sites and perhaps where you live there might be a physical store where you can go to unlock your device. I don’t know where you are located so I cannot recommend a place where I have experience with unlocking the device.

Zinab: I am assuming that the FaveFive feature is software. It should still be available using the new SIM card that you install. If the contact list for your phone is being read from the SIM card instead of the device, your might want to copy your Address Book from the SIM card to the device. You can do this inside the Address Book, it will be one of the menu options..
I got a code from t-mobile and it didnt work. I have tried other codes from the net also. I have tried 4 times! I think it may permanently lock! Is there a way to undo this? I have been trying with the tmobile sim, is this why it isn’t working? Do I have to put a different sim in first?

Using a T-Mobile SIM is recommended. The Unlock Code should be 8 digits.
Also, did you double-check the IMEI number given to T-Mobile? If the IMEI doesn’t match, you might be an incorrect Unlock Code.
Lastly, I believe if you make more than 5 attempts the device might be permanently locked.
Thx Eric, I called Tmobile and they had me try the code again and it worked. I must have put it in wrong, that was a close one on my 4th or 5th try!

John Akin: Perhaps you need to know the security key (WEP) to be able to access the WiFi Access Point. If you have WEP enabled, you may want to check what level the mobile device can handle.

Is there a way to remove the “t-zone” menu from Samsung SGH-T739? so i can access a different wi-fi router. i think it's allowed only to use the t-zone wi-fi. the phone is already unlocked and with a prepaid sim (non-t-mobile).
