How to Unlock Samsung SGH-T639

Samsung SGH-T639Here are the instructions to unlock the Samsung SGH-T639 from T-Mobile USA. The 8 digit unlock code can be obtained from the SIM Unlock Department. You will need the device’s IMEI number in order to obtain the code.

NOTE: Network Personalization Canceled should display once unlocked. “Not Yet Personalized” will be displayed if it has already been unlocked.

It is very important that the instructions are entered correctly as listed. If you receive an error message while performing the instructions do not make any further attempts to unlock the handset. Please be aware that if an excessive amount of incorrect attempts are made, the phone will be permanently locked. You will need to verify the IMEI by pressing *#06# and contact Customer Care for support.

    Thank you for your help with getting the subsidy unlock code, I was successfully able to do that.

    Would you have any idea about installing .jar or .jad programs to the phone if I already have them on the micro sd. I copied them to the other files folder, but when i try to run either .jad, or .jar programs I get an "unsupported file type" message.
  • nevin: Make sure the .jar or .jad file is compatible with your device. These files are specifically designed to work with the model of phone that you have. You will need both files the .jar and .jad file in the same location in order to get the application to run on a phone.

  • Del: For this device, you need to contact T-Mobile and give them the IMEI number. Tell them you would like the Subsidy Unlock Code. They will be able to give you the 8 digit unlock code unique to your device.

  • I have this Samsung SGH-T639 given by my aunt from T-Mobile but she has already cancelled her subscription to that company before she went back home to the Philippines. I would like to unlock the phone so that I could use it to put my Roaming SIM inside for use to send messages to the Philippines.
