As a follow-on to the headset or bluetooth rules for talking on your mobile phone while driving, California has added a No Texting Law into effect. While I still see a whole lot of people holding their handset while driving, trying to catch people texting or emailing while driving is a bit harder. There are so many other small item distractions while driving like eating, picking your nose, reading, just to name a few.
I’m not sure if this should be a warning to all you Blackberry and texting fiends, but if you need to text or email, try and make sure you keep it in your hand, below the windshield or window. If you do get pulled over, stash it in the glove box and get your car registration before you close it up.
