Samsung SGH-T919 Behold Network Configuration

Samsung SGH-T919 Behold169 Comments about my post on How to Subsidy Unlock Samsung SGH-T919 (Behold) and it appears that T-Mobile Customer Care and AT&T Technical Support are of no help.

So I created this post to show you the steps to access the Network Configuration menus.

Now I cannot help you to figure out what the network configuration is for your particular mobile operator, you will need to obtain that yourself from either the Technical Support or use Google!

Not sure. You might want to see if http://www.getjar.com has a radio application for your device.

  • mobileslate
gadget15: Have you contacted AT&T Customer Care? They should be able to give you the necessary settings for the MMS Gateway and the WAP APN settings.

it apears your not much help either? just what are those settings to make this hunk of scrap in my hand work on at&t? i cant even send txt or anything?
  • mobileslate
michaelread001: If you read through the comments about this device, it has been rather problematic to reconfigure the device. T-Mobile/Samsung didn't make it easy.

Jack: What mobile operator are you trying to use this device on? The best way is to contact the mobile operator's customer support and ask for the Internet and Messaging Settings.

My brother in law sent me his unlocked T-Mobile Samsung Behold. I have AT&T service. The phone works great other that the fact that I cannot access the internet. No internet, no multimedia messages. AT&T was given me the browser information as well as the MMS information to switch the phone over. However, it still doesn't work. We have noticed that under the settings the "network selection" key is static. It is not highlighted, does not work. I have a strange feeling this is where I need to go to switch the network over to AT&T. Any suggestions? Samsung told AT&T that T-Mobile orders their phones with this button unaccessable so only people in their service can use it. Oh- there has just got to be a way to access what is behind that button!
  • mobileslate
amybethe: Yes, Samsung and mobile operators point fingers at who is to blame. It's really the mobile operator who often chooses what to enable and disable. I hope that you can get the proper settings to get the T919 connected to the Internet with AT&T

iswarsingh: If you have lost your handset, there is not much you can do to delete the data and settings, except to contact your mobile operator to disconnect your service plan.
  • sean
what would i have to search to find the information to fill the fields?
  • sean: Depending on which mobile operator you want to select for service, you will either need to contact Technical Support or search for the WAP/APN settings online.

Hey Eric I can't Set up my Voicemail on my Behold. I have AT&T and I just unlocked it. it just rings a crazy amount of times.
  • Richard: I think you can contact Customer Care for this. They can tell you how to program the "1" key which is programmed to dial your voice mailbox.

Does anyone know the master key for the samsung behold, or at least the default one? And also the operator code is required to change many of the settings on the phone. Thanks
  • smurfizzle: Master key? Perhaps you can explain a bit more about what you are trying to accomplish on your device.
