Upcoming Mobile Business Expo/Interop in Las Vegas *UPDATED*

Mobile Business Expo, Las Vegas

UPDATED 05/15/2009
Mobile Business Expo is coming up and I’ll be speaking on a panel out in Las Vegas. If you click on the image above, it will give your a 40% discount on conference passes and free expo passes. The topic and abstract for the panel is below.

Mobile Platforms and Application Delivery

Thick client? Thin client? Custom or off-the-shelf applications? Backup? Managing integrity, connectivity and security? These are only a few of the key questions we’ll explore in this session. Given the variable connectivity inherent in wireless an ever-present challenge, the debate over how best to provision application services to a broad variety of mobile platforms is certain to be intense—and informative.

Time: Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

I am hoping that we can cover quite a few topics including devices, platforms, programming languages, mobile operators, netbooks and more. if you have any suggestions, send me email or comment on this post. So far the others who are confirmed to speak on the panel with me are:

Ajay Chopra, General Partner, Trinity Ventures
Michael Clewley, Technical Product Manager, RIM
Steve Haney, VP Americas, Mobile Distillery
Benjamin Wesson, VP Product Management, Dexterra
