
Normally like a lot of people, I don’t pay attention to banner ads on sites like Yahoo or even Facebook. However, this one in particular, peeked my interest. I think this is perhaps one of the first times I have seen a Venture Capital firm with a banner ad. On a portal, on a social network. Anywhere.
My first reaction: Oh. how times have changes!
Shotput Ventures is thinking different and using social advertising in Facebook to generate leads. It’s an interesting technique and I’m sure it will certainly get some dealflow. Below is the info from their website:
